The Jefferson

The Jefferson is a proposed multi-family residential low-income housing community located in Clovis, CA. The development is a partnership with Better Opportunities Builder (BOB) and will consist of 59 total units, including one manager’s unit. 100% of the units will be rent restricted to individuals with incomes ranging from 30%-60% of the Area Median Income (AMI). The project includes a 3,186 square foot community building, including a fully furnished multipurpose room with television and video capabilities, a kitchen, restroom facilities, and manager offices. In addition, there is a centrally located recreational open space with a network of walkways connecting the site along with barbeque/picnic areas, tot lot, and space for residents to enjoy the outdoors. The Jefferson received all entitlement approvals, including the Site Plan Review Amendment and Density Bonus from the City of Clovis in June 2021. Additional anticipated sources of financing include low-income housing tax credits, MHP funding, and a residual receipts loan from the City of Clovis. Currently the development is applying for additional financing and anticipates a start of construction in late 2023.
